Presenting Your Demo

The Big Idea: Provide an update on your team's game topic. What is the most important concept you want your players to learn?
My game is on dividing fractions and litter. I want them to learn how litter affects our world.

Making Decisions as a Team: How did your team's ideas about the game topic change over time?
I originally had it to where there were many characters and a totally different concept.

Roles & Responsibilities: Tell us more about your team process. Please each talk about your specific roles, and how you work together.
We worked by ourselves.

Research: What kind of research went into your game topic? What did you learn about your topic? What message do you want the player to understand?
I looked into many different websites and learned to so much more than I did before on the topic of litter. I want my player to understand the effects litter has on the world.

The User Experience: Explain the actions players take in your game. How do you play it? What decisions were made about features to include, and how did you decide?
The player uses many things such as mouse and keyboard. You will also control the player.  Many descions on math concepts.

Mastering Flash: What Flash resources have been most helpful in your learning so far, and why? How did you locate these resources?
Adobe flash itself was ver helpful along with the many tools that came with it such as brush and eraser.

Overcoming Challenges: What curriculum topic has been most difficult for you so far? How did you overcome this difficulty? What programming features are you most proud of in your game?
The game itself was difficult but I did alot of work on it and I am proud of my buttons.

Week After Week

Every week I write a blog for Globaloria. Sometimes the idea for it just pops in my head. Other times, I have trouble coming up with creative topics. So, this time I decided to blog about my Blogging ideas. As you can read below my blogs vary from litter to working as a class. I try very very hard to come up with a variety of blogging topics and media. I yam what I yam. It is our weekly assignment to publisha blog, so I really try to keep things fresh. I hope this blog is just as good as my others! Au Revoir!

Absent -

The past few days I have been absent. This has really put me behind, and I have work to get caught up with. It really stinks being absent, because when the others are ahead, you are still behind. But I guess being excused from school has its perks. All I did on Thursday and Friday was sit on a couch and watch TV.

Right now I am reading a book called Paul McCartney - Many Years From Now. The author is Barry Miles, who is a great friend of McCartney. The book is Paul McCartney's official biography. So far I am halfway through. Since I am a huge Beatles fan this book is fascinating. A fabulous book on Paul's life, this a must-read!
